An early ripener, McIntosh apple tree is one of the earliest of the apples to ripen. To extend your season of harvest, plant the McIntosh with the mid-season Winesap and a late season Arkansas Black Apple. You'll gain an heirloom harvest of some of the finest eating apples known.
